What is Bybit Web3?
Bybit Web3 allows users to explore Web3 opportunities directly through their Unified Trading Account (UTA), without the need to create a Web3 Wallet or deposit gas tokens. It acts as a bridge between CEX and DEX, providing a seamless, hassle-free experience for discovering and trading on-chain tokens.
What can I do on Bybit Web3?
You can currently buy and sell tokens on-chain directly from your UTA. More features, including on-chain liquidity staking and IDO participation, will be available in the future, so stay tuned!
What assets can I use to trade on Bybit Web3?
You can use the available USDT, USDC, SOL or bbSOL balance from your UTA to buy tokens on the Solana chain. The supported tokens are carefully curated based on multiple factors and may change over time, so be sure to check the product page for the latest list.
When will the traded assets be credited?
Web3 transactions are processed in real-time, so your assets will be credited immediately after the transaction is successfully completed.
Can I withdraw or transfer the tokens I purchased to my UTA?
No, tokens purchased through Bybit Web3 cannot be withdrawn or transferred to other accounts or platforms. However, if you sell them for USDT, USDC, SOL or bbSOL, the proceeds will be automatically credited to your UTA.
Do I need to pay a gas fee?
Yes, a gas fee is required for on-chain transactions. However, you don't need to deposit gas tokens in advance — the system will automatically convert your payment token into the required gas token at the current on-chain exchange rate, providing a simplified experience.
Who can use Bybit Web3?
Bybit Web3 is available to users who have completed Standard Identity Verification. Please note that Institutional users and users in restricted countries or regions are not eligible to access this feature.
Which account can I use with Bybit Web3? Can I use Subaccounts?
Currently, Bybit Web3 is only supported with Unified Trading Accounts. You'll need to access it through your Main Account, as Subaccounts are not supported.
Will my order be partially executed?
No, orders will only be fully executed at the market price. If there isn't enough liquidity to fill the entire order, it will be automatically canceled.
Is there a minimum or maximum order amount?
Yes, both minimum and maximum order limits apply. If your order amount falls outside the allowed range, you'll receive an error message.
Why am I seeing the "Exceeded token holding limit" error message?
A token holding limit is in place to help protect users from significant losses in the event of sharp price drops. This limit varies by user.
For example, if your holding limit is 10,000 PEPE and you already hold 8,500 PEPE, placing a buy order for more than 1,500 PEPE will trigger this error.
What happens if the token I purchased is delisted?
You'll receive a reminder 7 days before the token is delisted, giving you time to sell it. After the delisting, the token will no longer be tradable.
Any remaining balance will be automatically converted to USDT, USDC, SOL or bbSOL, depending on the best available rate and on-chain liquidity. The conversion will be executed at the prevailing on-chain exchange rate, and the resulting assets will be credited to your UTA.
We recommend managing your assets in advance to avoid any disruptions.
