How the Bybit Pay Referral Program works — and how to earn rewards

As digital payments become increasingly integrated into the global economy, Bybit Pay has emerged as a powerful tool for users to spend their cryptocurrency directly via QR codes and online merchant portals. To accelerate the adoption of this seamless payment method, Bybit has launched the Bybit Pay Referral Program — a mutual incentive initiative that rewards you for introducing your friends to the convenience of crypto payments.

This program is designed for everyone in the Bybit community, regardless of whether or not they have an active Bybit Pay account themselves. By sharing the utility of crypto-to-merchant transactions, you can earn consistent USDT bonuses while helping your friends unlock a faster, more flexible way to pay for things.

Key Takeaways:

• Dual rewards: Both the referrer and the referee receive a 2.5 USDT reward for every successful activation and qualifying payment.

• Low entry barrier: Referees only need to spend a cumulative total of 10 USDT via QR Pay or Pay Mall to trigger the rewards.

• Unified ecosystem: Rewards are credited within 10 days, and can be managed through your Funding Account or transferred to your Unified Trading Account (UTA) for further investment.

What is the Bybit Pay Referral Program?

The Bybit Pay Referral Program is an incentive-based initiative that rewards users for expanding the reach of Bybit’s crypto-payment infrastructure. Unlike traditional Referral Programs that focus solely on trading volume, this program is centered on real-world crypto utility, specifically through QR Pay and Pay Mall transactions.

The program operates on a mutual benefit model. When you introduce a friend to the ease of paying with crypto, Bybit rewards each of you with a 2.5 USDT bonus. This ensures that both the person sharing the opportunity and the person exploring the product for the first time are equally incentivized to participate.

Core objectives of the program

• Promoting crypto adoption: Bybit aims to transition crypto from a speculative asset to a practical medium of exchange for daily purchases.

• Rewarding ecosystem growth: The program provides a consistent way for users to earn rewards by simply sharing their positive experience with Bybit Pay.

• Lowering entry barriers: With a minimal spending requirement of just 10 USDT, the program is accessible to all users — from casual shoppers to high-volume spenders.

How the Referral Program works

The Bybit Pay Referral Program operates through a simple, trackable process that begins with a unique invitation and culminates in a successful transaction. Unlike trading-based referrals, the focus here is on payment activity, specifically using crypto for merchant purchases.

How referrers earn rewards

As a referrer, you act as an ambassador for Bybit Pay. Your eligibility for rewards isn’t dependent upon your own spending history, and any Bybit user can participate in the referral process.

• Step 1: Access the Bybit Pay Referral Program page to retrieve your unique referral link or QR code.

• Step 2: Share your link with friends who don’t yet have an active Bybit Pay account.

• Step 3: Monitor your progress via the Referral History section.

• Step 4: Receive a 2.5 USDT bonus in your account within 10 days of your friend completing their spending task.

How referees qualify for rewards

To ensure both parties receive their bonuses, the invited friend (the referee) must follow a specific onboarding and spending path:

1. Onboarding: They must use your referral link or code to sign up, and successfully activate Bybit Pay.

2. Spending task: They must spend at least 10 USDT (or equivalent) via QR Pay or Pay Mall.

3. Time frame: The qualifying spending must be completed within 90 days of activation.

What qualifies as a successful referral?

A referral is officially successful only after the referee completes the minimum requirement of spending 10 USDT. It’s important to note that internal transfers or P2P transactions don’t count toward this milestone. The funds must be used for actual merchant payments through Bybit Pay channels.

How to participate step-by-step

Following the steps below will ensure that your referrals are tracked accurately, and that rewards are distributed without delay.

Step 1: Access the Bybit Pay referral page

Log in to your Bybit account and navigate to the Finance tab, then select Bybit Pay. From there, locate the Referral Program banner to access your personalized dashboard.

Step 2: Share your unique invitation

Click on Invite Now to generate your unique referral link or QR code. You can share this via social media or messaging apps, or by having your friend scan the QR code directly from your device.

Step 3: Guide your friend through activation

Your friend (the referee) must click your link to sign up and successfully activate Bybit Pay. This process typically involves a quick setup within their existing Bybit account. Remind them that they must complete Identity Verification Lv. 1 to be eligible for rewards.

Step 4: Complete the qualifying spend

The referee must make a purchase of at least 10 USDT (or equivalent) using QR Pay or Pay Mall within 90 days of activation.

Step 5: Claim your rewards

Once the task is completed, both you and your referee will receive notifications.

• Referrers: Your 2.5 USDT bonus will be credited to your account within 10 days.

• Referees: Head to the Rewards Hub to claim your reward once the transaction has been verified.

How to maximize your referral rewards

To maximize Bybit Pay referral rewards, focus on high-frequency utility to build your Funding Account balance. The key is to help referees reach the 10 USDT spending threshold through everyday actions.

You can promote Pay Mall for instant milestones via gift cards or mobile top-ups, and emphasize the speed of QR Pay for in-person shopping. In addition, you can highlight the generous 90-day window for activation and spending, which removes pressure and increases sign-up conversions compared to shorter campaigns.

For maximum growth, transfer your 2.5 USDT bonuses to your Unified Trading Account (UTA). This allows you to use referral earnings as margin for perpetual trading or allocate them to the Earn Carnival. By doing so, you can leverage your free capital to unlock bonus yields of up to 12% APR, thus compounding small rewards into significant portfolio gains.

Additional benefits of Bybit Pay

Beyond referral rewards, Bybit Pay offers a seamless digital wallet for direct spending from your Funding Account.

Key benefits include the following:

• Zero-fee merchant payments: Pay via QR Pay without the high transaction fees associated with traditional credit cards.

• Instant settlement: Transactions through Pay Mall and merchant QR codes are processed instantly.

• Global accessibility: Use Pay Mall to access gift cards, gaming credits and mobile top-ups worldwide.

• Auto-cashback: Select merchants offer automatic cashback, which allows you to stack savings on top of your bonuses.

Eligibility and important terms

• Verification: Both parties must complete Identity Verification Lv. 1.

• Regional exclusions: Residents of the European Economic Area (EEA), including France, Germany and Italy, are strictly excluded.

• Spending validity: Only payments via QR Pay or Pay Mall count. P2P trades and internal transfers are excluded.

• Campaign concurrency: Referral rewards cannot be claimed alongside the Bybit Pay Welcome Event rewards.

• Claiming: Ensure you claim your bonus from the Rewards Hub promptly before they expire.

The bottom line

The Bybit Pay Referral Program is a powerful way to monetize your friend network while promoting the real-world utility of cryptocurrency. With a low 10 USDT spending threshold and a 2.5 USDT bonus for both parties, it’s one of the most accessible entry points into the Bybit ecosystem.

By integrating these rewards with your Unified Trading Account (UTA) and participating in high-yield events such as the Earn Carnival, you can transform simple payment bonuses into a diversified trading portfolio.
