What Can You Do With Biconomy?
About Biconomy (BICO)
What Is Biconomy?
When you use Biconomy, you get a simple and flexible platform for developers to use blockchain applications easily. Biconomy is designed to solve adoption issues of decentralized applications (DApps), as it lets you integrate with different blockchain networks without requiring you to have different cryptocurrencies.
Biconomy lets you interact with DApps the way you would with normal web applications. The gas fees and blockchain transactions are gone in favor of a more simple, straightforward interaction. As a developer, you'll also get tools to help you build user-friendly DApps. These tools include gas optimizations, transaction relays and Meta-Transactions.
Biconomy supports blockchain networks like Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain and xDai. You can also integrate its services into any Web3-compatible application.
What Is BICO?
The Biconomy network uses its native BICO, an ERC-20 token built on the Ethereum blockchain. You can use the BICO crypto coin to pay for various services on Biconomy, such as Meta-Transactions or gas optimizations. Alternatively, you can use it as a governance token to participate in any decision-making processes on Biconomy, such as voting on changes or proposing alternative protocols. The BICO crypto coin's value is determined by the crypto market. It’s traded on several centralized cryptocurrency exchanges, such as Bybit, Binance, Bitget and Bitrue.
Who Is the Founder of Biconomy?
Biconomy’s three co-founders are Aniket Jindal (COO), Ahmed Al-Balaghi (CEO) and Sachin Tomar (CTO).
Why Is BICO Valuable?
There are several reasons why BICO is valuable:
• Besides being a payment token, BICO is also a utility token. Within the Biconomy platform, the BICO crypto coin can pay for different services, such as transaction relays.
• Holders of BICO coins can also use them to participate in any decisions made within the Biconomy platform by voting on changes and proposing changes to the platform's protocols.
• The Biconomy platform is designed to be user-friendly, flexible and accessible.
BICO Coin Price and Tokenomics
At this time, there’s a circulating supply of 525,194,420 BICO coins. As of April 28, 2023, the BICO coin price is $0.356601.
In April of 2021, there were 1 billion BICO tokens in supply, distributed as follows:
• 38.12% to the community
• 22% to the Biconomy team and its advisors
• 12% for private round
• 10% for the foundation
• 6% for the pre-seed round
• 6.38% for the seed round
• 5% for public sale
• 0.5% to strategic investors
BICO, like Bitcoin, has a deflationary tokenomics model in which a set number of tokens is never increased. Even when demand increases, the supply stays the same. The greater the demand, the more valuable the BICO coin becomes.
How to Store BICO Coins
As the BICO crypto coin is an ERC-20 token, you can store it in any wallet that supports the Ethereum blockchain. Here are some options to consider:
• Cold wallets: Cold wallets — also known as hardware or offline wallets — provide the highest level of security when storing your tokens, as they aren’t connected to the internet. This helps prevent theft. You can store your BICO crypto coins in these wallets with the Ethereum app.
• Software wallets: Software wallets are another option. While they’re better than storing your token on exchanges, they’re not as safe as cold wallets. A software wallet can be a good option if you have a secure device.
• Exchange wallets: For smaller amounts of currency, you can store your BICO coins on exchanges, especially if you're trading often. However, exchanges are a target for hackers. If you have large amounts of BICO coins, you should store them in a cold wallet.
