What is the MNT multiplier?

The MNT multiplier is a benefit for MNT holders that accelerates VIP progression by assigning additional weight to MNT in asset value calculations. Depending on your VIP tier, your MNT holdings may count for more toward your total asset value. For details, please refer to Introduction to the MNT Program.

 

 

 

When calculating total asset value, is the MNT multiplier applied to the 30-day average or current assets?

It depends on the VIP track you're on — either the current balance or the 30-day average balance. The MNT multiplier doesn't change how VIP requirements are calculated; it is applied only to your MNT holdings to help you progress faster. For full details on VIP requirements, refer to the VIP Criteria and Fee Structure section of the VIP Program page. Data is updated daily around 8 AM UTC, though occasional delays may occur.

 

 

 

What are the multipliers for each VIP tier?

 

 

The multiplier applies up to VIP 4, allowing you to qualify for VIP 5 faster. Once you reach VIP 5, you'll enjoy all its benefits. For more details, check out the VIP Program page.

 

 

 

Why don't VIP 5 users get the MNT multiplier?

The multiplier only speeds up progression based on asset balance (up to VIP 4). In other words, you can upgrade from VIP 4 to VIP 5 faster with a 1.3x multiplier. Once you reach VIP 5, advancement to Supreme VIP is determined by your 30-day trading volume, not your asset balance. That's why the multiplier doesn't apply at this stage. However, you can still use MNT to pay trading fees and enjoy extra discounts on top of your VIP 5 rates.

 

 

 

How does the multiplier work?

The multiplier increases the weight of your MNT tokens when calculating your total asset value. The system first applies the multiplier to MNT, then adds in the value of your other assets.

 

For example, if you're a non-VIP holding 1,000 MNT (assumed market price = $1) and 5,000 USDT, your 1.5x multiplier will raise the value of MNT from $1,000 to $1,500. Adding 5,000 USDT brings your total asset value to $6,500.

 

 

 

How does the multiplier help accelerate VIP upgrades?

The multiplier boosts the value of your MNT, helping you reach VIP thresholds faster. 

 

Example:

On Sep 1, you are a non-VIP holding 65,000 MNT (assumed market price = $1) and 30,000 USDT.

 

Without the multiplier:

Your total asset value is $95,000, which doesn't meet the VIP 1 requirement as outlined in the VIP Program.

 

With the multiplier:

A 1.5x multiplier applies to your MNT holdings, raising the MNT value to $97,500 ($65,000 × 1.5). Adding 30,000 USDT brings your total asset value to $127,500, qualifying you for VIP 1.

 

Note: VIP levels refresh on T+1. In this example, you'll officially become VIP 1 and unlock its benefits on Sep 2.

For non-VIP users, refer to the table above to see the multipliers for each VIP level. If you're a VIP, go to your VIP Me page by clicking your profile picture in the upper-right corner of the page.
