You can be a crypto trader and still care about Alphabet earnings. GOOGL sits at the intersection of megacap growth, AI capital expenditure and broad equity-market sentiment. A stronger Cloud story could support confidence in the AI investment cycle. A margin or spending disappointment could pressure growth-stock risk appetite. Neither scenario gives us a clean BTC target, and crypto-specific flows can easily dominate. My preference is to compare the Nasdaq reaction, Treasury yields and BTC spot follow-through instead of turning one corporate earnings surprise into an automatic crypto trade. #EarningsWatch

A large EPS number can be the least useful figure in an earnings report. Alphabet's Q2 2026 diluted EPS reached $9.11, but other income included roughly $98 billion in net gains, primarily unrealized gains on equity securities. That's not the same as profit generated by Search or Cloud operations. For Q3, I'm putting operating income, segment results and cash spending ahead of any eye-catching bottom-line number. I am not dismissing Alphabet's earnings. I'm saying investors should know which dollars came from customers and which came from investment revaluations. The distinction changes the story completely. #EarningsWatch

Microsoft reports on the same day as the Fed's October rate decision. That's a useful reminder that equity reactions can blend two different stories: the cost of capital and the durability of AI demand. A strong Azure report may meet a market that is repricing rates, or the reverse. If MSFT moves sharply, I won't immediately assign the entire move to earnings. I would compare the Fed communication, Treasury yields and peer reactions before deciding what investors actually learned. For macro-sensitive traders, attribution is part of risk management. #EarningsWatch

Microsoft previously said Microsoft 365 Copilot had more than 30 million paid seats. That's a meaningful commercial milestone, but a paid seat isn't automatically a highly engaged user. I want to see the next layer: renewal behavior, broader deployment across organizations and whether AI features help defend or expand revenue per customer. Enterprise AI succeeds when it changes workflows enough that customers keep paying after the novelty fades. A product installed for a trial and a product embedded in daily work have very different long-term economics. Earnings should help us test that difference. #EarningsWatch

The October Fed meeting lands in a crowded market calendar, with major corporate earnings and other macro releases also drawing attention. A BTC move following the press conference may coincide with an equity-market reaction or a new data point. Time-stamp the catalyst before declaring causation. My research question: if crypto moves sharply, what else changed during the same 30 minutes? It is easier to post a Fed headline than to isolate a market driver. #FOMCRateDecision

A policy decision directly sets the overnight target rate, not the entire Treasury curve. Ten-year yields also reflect longer-run growth, inflation expectations and term premiums. That's why the ten-year can move differently from the two-year even when the Fed delivers an expected decision. For equity and crypto watchers, a change in long-term yields may matter for valuations and broader risk sentiment. For a stronger cross-asset narrative, identify whether the change is at the front end, the long end or both. #FOMCRateDecision

A firmer U.S. dollar can make the backdrop harder for dollar-priced risk assets. It does not mechanically determine BTC’s direction. After the Fed announcement, I would compare the dollar’s reaction with short-term yields and equity-index futures. If those signals disagree, the neat story that “one macro variable explains crypto” may be incomplete. What evidence would persuade you that a BTC move came from rates rather than crypto-specific positioning? #FOMCRateDecision #FOMCRateDecision

Gold and BTC often appear in the same “alternative asset” conversation, but they do not have identical drivers or risk profiles. Around an FOMC meeting, the dollar, real yields and risk appetite could pull them in different directions. If gold is firm while BTC is weak, I would not automatically call that a contradiction. It may tell us something about how investors are expressing uncertainty. Which divergence would make you question a simple risk-on/risk-off explanation? #FOMCRateDecision #FOMCRateDecision

During FOMC week, I would keep the U.S. two-year Treasury yield beside the BTC chart. The front end of the yield curve is sensitive to expectations about the Fed’s policy path, though risk premiums and other forces matter too. If policymakers sound more restrictive than expected, I would ask whether that shift also appears in short-term yields before attributing every crypto move to the headline. I would use the yield move as a cross-check, not a standalone trigger for a BTC trade. #FOMCRateDecision #FOMCRateDecision

Stocks have a much longer history of observations across U.S. midterm cycles than BTC does. Crypto's shorter record makes simple historical analogies particularly fragile. Would you give more weight to past election cycles, current liquidity conditions or the market structure visible today? #MidtermsMarketWatch #MidtermsMarketWatch Related Bybit Odds contract: https://www.bybit.com/en/trade/odds/BTCUSDT-6NOV26-82000-ABOVE Review the contract terms and risks; if its price condition is not met, the allocated amount is forfeited.

Election narratives can attract attention, but market liquidity can shape how prices respond. When BTC moves sharply, what do you check first: liquidity conditions, trading activity, broader risk sentiment or the news itself? A bullish view is more useful when it comes with a clear condition that would prove it wrong. For election week, would that be a loss of price support, weaker broader risk sentiment, rising yields or something else? Make the case — and name your invalidation point. #MidtermsMarketWatch

Rather than asking only whether BTC will rise or fall, compare its performance with ETH and broader risk assets. Relative strength will not explain everything, but it can help identify whether a move is market-wide or concentrated in one asset. Which comparison belongs on your watchlist? #MidtermsMarketWatch

An upcoming event does not automatically create a new opportunity. A political headline may coincide with a sharp BTC move, but coincidence is not confirmation. What would make a breakout more convincing to you — sustained price action, stronger market participation or confirmation from the wider risk-asset environment? #MidtermsMarketWatch
